Some of you might be interested in the Habitat for Humanity Women's Construction Classes. It's $295 for four weeks, and you learn the building process start to finish--framing, roofing, drywall and interior construction, flooring, and finish carpentry. It's a good introduction if you plan on volunteering for Habitat in the future, renovating your home, or building a tiny house one day. (You can also take single half-day sessions for $45 each if you only want to learn about, say, roofing.)

Seems like a good time and it benefits a good cause. If you're not in the Philadelphia area, the program is nationwide.
